And so it begins...

Normal life here in Liverpool has now commenced.  We are so thankful for the way that God has paved the way for us so far!  We are living with an amazing family here, who have kindly welcomed us into their home.  We are having a lovely time so far.  Although we feel far from home it's wonderful to be meeting new friends and seeing the sights of a new country.

Dave is really enjoying his studies at the school of tropical medicine.  He has also just signed himself up to do the Liverpool half marathon next month!  :)  Icy pavements make for interesting running training.

I'm enjoying settling into the routines of life here.  For the first few weeks we've taken things quite easy to recover from the jet lag and busyness of the last few months.  My diary has drastically changed from being extremely full to rather empty.  Quite an adjustment, but learning lots about what it means to do things differently and taking time to enjoy this new season.  I'm extremely grateful for the internet and particularly skype, with regular chats with family back home.

Zeke and Toby are both going well.  They have been to a children's program run by the church called 'sticky fingers', visits to the library, rides on double decker busses, and plays in the park when the weather permits.  Things have been pretty rough with Toby during the nights in recent months.  He has been extremely unsettled, leaving his parents with very little sleep.  Thankfully things have started to improve on a few occasions, and he's welcomed tooth no.3 to the collection :).

This weekend we are hoping to go to Wales for a visit.  We're planning to find the home where my  Grandma Bet was born.  m

I know that we have a few friends back at home that would love to set foot in this store - so this photo is for you! :)
Following church @ Frontline on Sunday we headed to the Babylon Grill Cafe - if you're ever in the area...strongly recommended!  So delicious & great value.  Toby thoroughly enjoyed taste testing everyone's meal!  Hot chips...a definite favourite.
Zeke enjoying the open spaces on the stroll home from church on Sunday
I think these awesome merry-go-rounds have been banned from Oz, so we've been soaking up the giddy fun!
Little Tobes has welcomed a 3rd tooth - a few midnight screams to welcome this one! :)
The seat is no longer frosty - mega YAY!!
A very grateful chap enjoying the frostless park!
The number one lady in Zekie boys life :)
